1-to-1s

A 1-to-1 is a one-on-one meeting between two members, or between a member and a guest, to get to know each other's business. ChamberForge tracks 1-to-1s so groups can see who is building relationships.

Record a 1-to-1

Open the Quick menu (the grid icon in the top header) and choose Record 1-to-1, or go to 1-to-1s in the left menu.

  • Date: the date of the meeting. It cannot be later than tomorrow.
  • User: you. Group managers can choose any member of their group, to record a 1-to-1 on a member's behalf.
  • With: the member or guest you met. Type a new name to add a new guest.
  • Report to group: one or more groups the 1-to-1 should count toward.
  • Description: optional notes about the meeting.

Recording a 1-to-1 with another member also connects the two of you in My Network if you were not already connected. Your 1-to-1s also appear on your Calendar.

Report to Groups

If you leave Report to group empty, the 1-to-1 is reported to every group you and the other person share. You can add or remove groups later from the 1-to-1's page with Report to Group.

A group's reports only count 1-to-1s that were reported to that group.

Who Can Record

  • Any member can record their own 1-to-1s.
  • Group managers can record 1-to-1s on behalf of members of their group.
  • Both people in a 1-to-1, and managers of the groups it was reported to, can view it.

How 1-to-1s Are Counted

Only one of the two people needs to record a 1-to-1, and it counts for both of them. If both people record the same meeting, it is counted twice, so agree on who records it.

Groups no longer choose a counting method. The older Double option, where each member had to record their own side, was removed, and every group now counts 1-to-1s this way.

If a member says their 1-to-1 is missing from a report, check that the 1-to-1 was reported to that group.

Edit or Delete a 1-to-1

The person who recorded a 1-to-1 can edit or delete it from the 1-to-1s list or the 1-to-1's page. The page shows who added it.
