If someone sends you a coffee on ChamberForge, congratulations — someone in your network thinks highly enough of you to put a little money behind it. That means something.
But here's what we're seeing: a lot of people receive coffees and never claim them, simply because claiming requires setting up a Stripe account. And I get it — one more account, one more setup process, it feels like friction. But I want to make the case that it's absolutely worth it, and here's why.
It's More Than a Cup of Coffee
When someone sends you a coffee, they're not just being nice. They're publicly saying, "This person added value to me." That signal matters in a community like ours, where we're building real relationships and real business connections.
We're currently building out features to highlight and showcase members who receive the most coffees. Think of it as a leaderboard of trust. If you've received five, ten, twenty coffees from people in your network, that tells the community something powerful — that you show up, you add value, and people genuinely appreciate you. That's the kind of reputation that leads to introductions, referrals, and new business.

Members who are new to ChamberForge will look at that number and immediately understand who the connectors and power networkers are. They'll want to reach out to you. Yes, you need a Stripe account to receive payouts. But you only do it once. After that, every coffee someone sends you goes straight through, no friction on your end. Stripe is the most trusted payment platform in the world — it's what we use on the backend for all transactions on ChamberForge. If you've ever bought something online, chances are Stripe was involved.
The setup takes about five minutes. The benefit lasts as long as you're building your network here.
