Subscriptions or Member renewals

We charge $500 per year for new members and $400 per year for renewals. I have our first one renewing on 4/9/25. The members when in to renew and it already says subscribed, but has no option to re subscribe. Do they need to cancel their membership and then re do it to renewal?

Is anyone else doing subscriptions and renewals that can help out?

Looks like they auto renew if anyone is wondering. Support from the app has been non existent on questions however, so it's trial by error. I'm still not sure if the new member need to cxl and then resubscribe so they don't get charged the 500 at renew vs the 400 but that is my guess. 1st new member renewal is in 45 day.

I have confirmed just thought out billing that it does automatically bill to the card on file the day after the membership should be due. Our subscripting to the app did the same thing. I have 1 that is renewing in June that we are testing. We charged them 500 to be a new member. I cxld his membership at the end of the term. Not CXL NOW. This should make it so it doesn't auto rebill at the 500 for the year. Then the day his is supposed to renew, I will have him go in an subscribe to the current member cost of $400. Then going forward, it will auto rebill at the 400 per year. No, no answers from Chamberforge so trial and error.

Thanks for the feedback. That is frustrating that there is no communication from Admin though. How has the app worked otherwise for you? We are starting a new networking group and just getting started with the app. It seems good in general but has a few things that are missing I have noticed. How do you deal with recurring business and tracking passed business without a new referral (I.e. I send you a client last year and they hire you again this year. I dont know that they hired you again so I can't put that in as a referral but you got the business from me so should be able to put it is as passed business).

I'm an insurance agent, so we have renewals every year. I just put in a referral on the desktop from that person to me and give them closed business. That is the only way to do it. You can't do it that way on the app. You can have them send a referral for each renewal and update that way, but I find it best to log into the desktop and just say its from them to me and do a referral. Then I update that to won business and enter the closed business. The app has been pretty solid, but there could be a few upgrades with the app to make it more like the desktop version, but there are work arounds. We have not had any issue in a little over a year. Except for their last update, but that was fixed after a few days.
